Welcome to Corfe Castle`s best kept secret

After 100`s of years we`re now letting on; Corfe has two castles! One a mighty fortress destroyed by Cromwell's parliamentarians, the other a humble public house, still doing today what it has done for hundreds of years.

Little has changed here over the years. Flagstones, bare stone walls, exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces are still prominent features.

We offer several menus, with special meals for children. Our emphasis is on value and quality.

In the winter you`ll find a blazing fire in the hearth, in the summer you can enjoy the large beer garden overlooking the steam railway (www.swanagerailway.co.uk) or the floral terrace under the shade of the grapevines.
Everyone is welcome at the Castle Inn, it`s not unusual to see three or four generations eating or drinking together.

We are a family run establishment and are passionate about what we do, the customer really is King at the Castle Inn.

Please note that although we love animals at the Castle Inn, because of limited space, we are unable to accomodate dogs inside the pub. You are of course welcome to bring your dogs to our large back garden, but please ensure they are kept under control because of the chickens!
